We went to the Temple for the Lighting ceremony last Friday Night where they have a speaker and songs and they light up all the Christmas lights. I was doing a photo shoot right before so the Dana's picked up some good Parrot Head food and we proceeded to tailgate in the parking lot. Which is very difficult to do with 4 boys under the age of 6!

I'm sure many people felt the warm Christmas message and were very uplifted. Me, I just tried to keep my boys quiet so people could have those warm fuzzy Christmas feelings.

(last night with the binkie)

It was fun to sing Silent Night and then have the lights all come on! Caleb was very excited and wanted me to take his picture all over the place.

My Favorite part of the night was when I was wanting to go home...seriously it had been a long day and Caleb refused to go without going to see the enormous statue of Christ in the Visitor's Center. He loves it. It touched me and made me realize that he was teaching me about what Christmas really means.

I asked Davis if Jesus loved him and he said, "NO!" and the mood vanished quickly.

Sigh. What is a Mom to do!?!

Way cute post! I think we might have started a new trend with our Tailgate party!

Also, love the new Holiday blog design! Very cute!

We forgot to go to the lighting, but we did go and see the lights another night. It was too cold though, we couldn't make it through the entire nativity.
I love your new pics, header and design!

What a wonderful thing to do. Don't let Davis get you down, he is just enough like you to be irrating at the right times.
