Our little nest

We had a bird make a nest in our wreath and I was worried about it since the door gets opened and shut so much, so I moved it. The little bird was determined and she built it again. This time I decided to leave it there. Its been fun having a little bird for a pet. John has not felt so happy about the bird....the bird has flown in twice when hes opened the door and then hes had to chase it out.

Today he decided to look at moving the nest but when he peaked inside look what he found!

They must have just hatched. Its hard to even tell how many there are. How fun that we have little chicks!

Bullets New Digs

John and I brought back a bunch of shells and coral for Bullets tank. Hes stylin!

Out of the mouth of my babes...

I tried my hair curly yesterday and when I woke up this morning I could tell that I had some serious bed head. Davis walked in saw me and stopped and said: "Wo, Mom you look like a girl Rock Star!"

Last Family Night we were talking about Miracles and asking the boys if they could think of some miracles. Caleb was so excited! "I have one. Bullet is our miracle!" And a miracle he is. He is the only remaining fish of our 8!

Meet our new family members

Let me introduce you to 3 very special fish.

They are the newest members of our family. We got a little carried away at the pet store and got 8 to start with but last night there must have been a mass murderer in town because there were a lot of floaties this morning. Biggie, Boom Boom, Ca (pronounced Kay), Iggy, and Fluppy all have been flushed, poor guys.  Caleb was devastated that we hadn't even got a picture of them yet. So now we have 3 fish plus a picture of them.

I think that's the perfect number!
