Home alone!

Look who started school today! First official day of Kindergarten!

Such a stud, not even a hesitation.

Then it was off to drop this guy off to Preschool!

I call this the "enough already Mom!" picture.

He walked in like he owned the place!

I came home and cleaned for a couple hours and got SO much done! I grabbed Becks from our carpool just in time to get Davis off the bus!

Oh, man where does the time go. There is a part of me that feels a bit lazy or selfish for having time to just myself. Then I remind myself that for the most part, the last 9 years I have operated in panic mode. I have felt like I am running so hard and hardly able to keep up. I'm really looking forward to finally being able to keep up and be the kind of Mom that just might be a little less frazzled!

There is always hoping at least!

Davis' Preschool Graduation

Hes so grown up. Hes really ready to venture out to Kindergarten. Yep, I cried.

We love Mrs. Shawna! Beckham is so excited because now that is his school!

Artisitc Davis

At Preschool Davis learned a song that has the letter sounds and also two words that start with that letter. He sat down the other day all by himself and drew out his song. He has been singing it all the time and he is so proud of his pictures. The only thing he asked me for help on was what a question looked like. I'm hoping to get all the pictures labeled in the next few days.

Preschool

Davis started preschool on Tuesday and he is SO excited! I am really happy with the little preschool we found!



Hes was an experienced pro and was ready to dive right in!

Preschool Graduation #1

Davis graduated from preschool last Tuesday. He can go to Kindergarten next year but we decided based on everything that has happened this last year to hold him. We have wrestled with the decision for a while now but we feel more peace when we think of having him wait one more year before growing up. I'm glad I have one more year with him here at home.

He loved Mrs Morris and Mrs Sherry! (No really, he did. He was a little angry that he had to leave the waterside for a picture)

He loved all of the science and he learned so much! He was given the award of "Best Shapes Knowledge" and had proved it earlier in the presentation. They were reviewing all of the things they had learned and when it came to shapes all of the kids got stumped on one shape and it was quiet for a few seconds before Davis yelled out "Rhombus!" It was so cute. Of course the battery on the camera was dead and it just so happened I had the little flip video camera which had dead batteries too! I was so sad...


He has been looking forward to the water slide party for weeks!

Davis' preschool teacher wanted a picture and paragraph about Davis and after I wrote it I wanted to post it here too.

Dang he is cute!

Davis turned 4 years old on June 17th. He has 2 brothers, Caleb and Beckham. Davis loves Hot wheel cars more than anything else and always has! He has over a hundred and he knows each and every car! He love to play games and is really good at Memory and Candyland! Davis loves to draw and he colors wonderful pictures of his family best! He taught himself how to write letters just by looking at them. Davis is a great swimmer and is playing soccer this year and doing gymnastics. The one thing Davis really does not like is loud noises! He has very sensitive ears. His family loves Davis so much especially because he has the best smile and laugh! He is kind and sensitive. He works so hard to listen and make his Mom happy. We are so happy that Davis is part of our family!
