Here are a few examples of the kids stories that were told right before Caleb (I am not trying to minimize these children's stories, they have some fantastic stories and some real pioneer heritage)....
- My great great great Grandma died and President Lorenzo Snow laid his hands on her head and told her to come back to life and she did.
- My great great grandpa wanted to add onto his house so he saved his money really hard and when he finally had $600 the Prophet asked for $600 to finish the temple and he gave them his $600.
- My great great great Grandpa (mumble mumble) Heber C Kimball (for those who don't know he was a very important member of our church in the beginning). The leader clarified for us, Oh he was baptised by Heber C Kimball. Child: No, he baptised Heber C Kimball!
(Might I add that Ive never been prouder of my family history either, I just thought the juxtaposition of the stories was a bit hilarious!)

HAHAHA!!! I would have LOVED to hear that...Caleb's too cute!!! I loved catching up and looking at all your pictures. I think that's neat that your dad blessed Beckham!!! Plus, the lemonade looks GOOD too!!!
What a great story! I love what kids pick up on and how they share that with others. Sounds like a super neat activity. So jealous of the warm weather! It was in the 80's here for a few days last week but that was short-lived! The lemonade stand and cookies was too cute. I love how you tell the stories. And you know the picture of Alainey on the horse....she didn't ride by herself. Layne was standing right by her when I snapped the photo. Although I'm pretty sure she would ride by herself if we let her!
Well, at least Caleb's family history is unique in that city of Zion. Where ever we plan ourselves, we bring 'color' into the area. That is a good story.
I'll need to let Caleb know about the time Grandma Irene won the Holdem Game at McCaslands traditional USC/UCLA football party. It is still talked about as the bigest upset victory of the 30 + years of parties. The hotshot players didn't know what hit them after Grandma finished them off. Looks of "how cute" turned into looks of "this can't be real".
PS - I ran third that year adding to my past two victories. She trained me well.
Hahahaha, oh that made me laugh!
