I DID IT!!!

Yeah! I'm so proud of myself. Here is my first ever digital scrapbook page. I was just trying to understand layers and putting a backing on a photo and basically how to use elements. I'm not going to lie it was hard but I am really excited to learn new things. My goal is going to be to learn a new tool with each page I do from now on. Mark was right that it gets easier once you start to understand things. So without further ado I give you my very first digital scrapbook page: There are so many people I would like to thank for helping me get to this point. First of all, my thousands of fans! My inspiration, Charis, to make the switch to digital because of all her cute pages and her helpful site lists. Also my mother who is letting me borrow her digital scrapbook how to book. I could never have done this page without the help of my rocket scientist brother who patiently helped me even though I wasn't being very clear over the phone. And lastly my supportive family who has given me time to work on it and my husband John who always encourages me to learn a new talent and to find something that fulfills me. Thank you everyone! :) Raging Applause.....

*Yes, as I was sitting here admiring it I realised the year is wrong. I was more focused on getting the text in than on what the text said!

Couldn't help myself and wanted to be sure I had to down so here is my second page:

Great Job, Congratulations Honey! The page looks great, but if the year is wrong, can't you change it pretty easily.
