The boys left last night for the father and son and it was kind of sad to watch them all drive away for camping fun without me. Well, until I went out to dinner with my friend and we had a sleepover last night....
They had a good time but there is a new house rule which is that no son is eligible to go on the camp out until he is 3! Davis wandered all over the camp and John had a hard time finding him half the time. (Hmmmmm...that makes me wonder about how come I don't get to say no kids to run errands until they are 3 because really its the same to try to run errands with him. Although I do get to strap him into a cart, or try at least)
Anyway here are the great and abundant pictures that I got off the camera when they got home. I know Caleb had a good time and was so tired from staying up so late that on the way home in the truck he said "Dad, my eyes just wont stay open."

I think no kids under 3 going on errands is a good rule! Emily is still hard to go shopping with at times and she is going on 6 though, so I guess it wouldn't help me. That would be scary to lose Davis in the woods! Chad Miner lost Eddie for a while at the last ward camp out. I think they were playing hide & seek and he didn't want to be found. Chad was worried that he was going to have to tell Chenoa that he lost their son when she got back though.
That is so cute! My heart bleeds purple peanut butter for dear ol' daddy! Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Sorry he was a handful though, but what is a 2 year old anyway?
Fathers and Sons is good for them! Jordan has been looking forward to it for a while but we missed it last weekend! He'll just have to wait for next year!
John will always have good memories of these events.
That's great that John took both boys and how fun that you had a girls night!!
Love the father son campout! I wouldn't survive with the 3 year old rule, cause I want Daddy to have to deal for 12 hours with those boys. Me and Ash have a girls night out and sleepover in my bed!
Chad has his fathers and sons outing this weekend. Lucky for him though, his dad and Connor will be there too and I'm sure they will spend most of their time chasing Mason letting Chad relax.
