So if you have been to our house you have probably noticed that I have a thing for chalkboards. I think they are cute and functional and they help me actually do the things that are on them. For example I cook off a menu board. On the rare weeks I don't fill it out I feel lost all week for what I should cook.
I got this chalkboard for Christmas and let me tell you we
don't miss
FHE! Caleb loves it too and loves to help
pick who gets to do what and he knows that he has an
assignment and asks about it all week.
We do a Friday night movie each week and I kept forgetting to order a
Netflix that was special for it so we ended up having to go to the rental store or red box. So I thought I'll make myself a chalkboard. Here it is! I love it and now I know I will remember to get our movies on time!

I go the slightly less aesthetically pleasing route and write it in dry erase markers across my bathroom mirror. When I see "RENT" written across my reflected face, I remember to write the check.
However, I think your idea is cute and awesome! The success of something, I think, is 50% based on the anticipation of it and your Friday Night Movie board is great! What a great thing to make your kids look forward to family time!
You are so creative and organized! I love it. Sorry you guys are sick again!... we are too. I barely have voice or else I would have called. Anyway love the chalkboards and new pics. Caleb is hilarious.
those are cute -- i like the movie one and i am proud to see my wet burritos have made your dinner menu. i also do the dry erase marker thing on the mirror, tee hee. i am not really a natural born housekeeper -- i need to get more organized. ~lis

Cute chalkboards! I'm wondering what Wet Burritos are...are they good? If so, could you post the recipe?
