We had a blast today with Caleb's party! I think there were 12 five to seven year olds and it was BUSY! We set up the party with all the kids working together as the Autobots and they had to defeat "Decepticon John". First they had 3 training missions before they could go on the final quest to find the Allspark.Pop Decepticon Johns balloons before he popped the Autobot balloons

John ran out of silly string a little to fast so he took a prisoner and used his (although Ive never seen such a happy and willing captive!)After training they got to Roll out and go on a scavenger hunt to find the Allspark...
After finding the Allspark and opening it (the party favors were in it) we opened presents and had cake and ice cream
Then the boys went out on the trampoline with John who played all sorts of games and he kept the attention of all of the boys for about 40 minutes!
Check out the cake, its SO AWESOME....
and I take no credit for it. All the artistic work was done by John! 
Many thanks to my mom who baked and frosted it too. 
Today was one of those days where I think I realized just how great John is! Seriously I love this man...plus I'm pretty sure Caleb knows his Daddy is the coolest Dad in the world and I think hes right!

We had so much fun Lisa!!! Thanks for inviting Luke...he LOVED it!!! (He couldn't stop talking about Caleb's party all day.) It was so good to see your parents too...not to mention you and your family. It's been a while.
PS...Sorry we missed you at the game. I didn't want to call and bug you for two reasons. #1: I thought that maybe you might have been resting since it was a pretty busy morning for you. or #2: Maybe the party could have put you into labor. :)
So, I wanted to check your blog out to make sure that it wsan't theory #2!!! Hope you can recover after the FUN birthday!!!

I'm sure impressed with this party! We'll be calling u guys for help with Nathan's parties! haha:) Looks like it was a blast! Happy belated Caleb!
Looks like an awesome party. And yes Decipticon John is a real stud. Looks like he was the life of the party.
Lisa really put on a great party and John is the perfet 'patsy' guy! He really is a great dad, and they are both great parents. We enjoyed the boys, but have to tell you that I have new-found respect for my grandmother who raised me and Pam!
