Easter week

Brian, Kate, and fam came to visit during their spring break and we had a blast. Caleb is in some serious withdrawal from having his cousins around and Davis is glad to have his house back to being a little more calm. He likes things a little quieter. In fact when they all left (including Caleb) Davis did the happy dance all day laughing and running around the house. We then all went to CA for a thing for my Aunt and so we could pick Caleb up. All in all it was a great week. Here are some photos of the highlights!


Our good friends the Hickens came up and brought some toys for the boys to play on. The best part of living in the middle of no where is that they could just take off from our front porch and go in any direction. After dinner the little kiddos got a chance to go for a ride and they all loved it!

Uncle John took all the kids on the long board while we were out for a walk.

From the comfort of my own home!

Its here! The Internet is here! It took a lot of calls to Qwest and a lot of calls to UPS today but we are all hooked up and running! I'm SO happy! Anyway we had a great week last week and I will blog about it but I figured I better go make some dinner and not starve my family. The kids are going to bed early though so I can some do all the things Ive waited 4 months to do!

Hes still got it!

We were over visiting some friends today enjoying some good food and a campfire outside. Before dinner the boys were playing football and jumping on the trampoline and John showed us his moves. So here it is!

We look like we are still at least one week out for the internet. We are waiting for power to be hooked up to the phone equipment and then they said it will take a week or so to program everything.

Two weeks out

Talked to the Qwest guy yesterday and he says were still two weeks out from getting the Internet. Just wanted to let you all know. We will be back in a bout two weeks so dont give up on us!

One year of Disney Magic

Our Disneyland passes officially expire today and I'm so sad. I have to say that I felt it ended on the perfect note though. On Thursday Caleb and I went down in the afternoon just the two of us and we had so much fun! He was so adorable and its awesome to go without strollers, nap times, diapers. All I had was the camera and his little hand holding mine! We went where ever he wanted and when we needed to move faster he would hop on my back and we were off! He would also just pick up my hand to his lips and kiss it! Hes such a charmer when he wants to be!

Caleb wanted to take a picture while in line for Monsters Inc so this is it. Not bad! He took a few other photos and I think hes a budding photographer! We were waiting for the Aladdin show to start which is an amazing show! He loved it too, especially the flying carpet. He would clap so hard in between songs and got so into it that he fell to the ground when the cave of wonders swallowed Aladdin.
Here is us on the Matterhorn. At first he was scared to do it again but then all of sudden he said, Mom those monsters are so funny! They make me laugh like this..." He then held his stomach and said "ha ha ha!" He was not so happy after we went on though. That was easily remedied with the teacups and Buzz. I got a new high score for me of ~420,000 without the ride stopping. Props to John who was so close to a million (although we did stop that time)!
This was one of the happiest days Ive ever had with Caleb so props to the happiest place on earth!

Davis and I had the opportunity to go over and visit with Kam and Lisa while here in CA. The boys played really well together considering Davis is kind of pushy since hes use to an older brother! I'm really lucky that I love both of my sister in laws! I love that Kam also sucks the same fingers Caleb did! He so CUTE! Look at those eyes!

A VERY important decision

So I have been trying to decide for about 6 months about digital scrapbooking and I think I am officially making the switch. The catch is that I have to finish all my past stuff in order to allow myself to move on. I brought all my stuff here to Cali to work on and in order to have from HS senior year to Davis at 4 months I only have my senior year of college and the year I lived in Seattle before I met John. My goal is to have it all done by June and in the meantime work on learning how to use Photoshop Elements. If anyone has and great sites that teach or have stuff for digital scrapbooking, pass them on.

We had a great day at Disneyland with the boys today and John and I went back tonight and had a blast going on all the big kid rides. Actually we ended up on Buzz lightyear most of the time trying to beat each others scores. John almost broke a million! (What he doesn’t want me to mention is that we got stopped part of the time!) I will try to post some picts tomorrow. Caleb went on the Matterhorn for the first time and hated it the whole time but wanted to go again after he got off! It’s going to be a great week...blogging, scraping, Disneyland, and I have my parents TV recording all the original law and orders and there was a marathon on Monday so there is like 20 saved for me! Only thing missing will be John since he leaves for Houston tomorrow. At least I have some things to keep me distracted!

Look at me blogging!!!

Hey everyone! Long time no blogging! We are at my parents house for the week to do Disneyland and John will be going to Houson on Wednesday and Im going to stay here and do some scrapbooking and more Disneyland! We have been on the road since the 10th and will basically be on the road until the 2nd. The kids are being troopers and we are having fun. Our house still feels so new because we are NEVER there! I will probably blog all week while I have the chance. The best news is that when we get back we should be within a week or two of getting the internet!
Its good to be back!

You know your in the sticks when....

So if you are wondering why we dropped off the face of the blogging world we moved into our new house and found out that they haven't run the lines and cable for phone and Internet to the neighborhood yet. Johns work and the public library both block blogger so I cant access it there either. We should up and running sometime in February. Until then we will just try to live without Internet which is extremely hard! Hopefully we will be back soon!
